Boldbrain: Selezionati i dieci finalisti

The seventh edition of our accelerator for innovative ideas Boldbrain Startup Challenge is coming to an end. The acceleration program that kicked off on August 29 has provided the selected innovative projects with an opportunity to develop and improve their initial idea thanks to six workshops and numerous coaching hours. On Friday, November 22, the Regional Jury reunited at the West Campus of Università della Svizzera italiana to evaluate the participating projects and select the ten finalists that will be on stage on December 4.

The jury, chaired by Luca Mascaro (founder and president of Sketchin) and composed of Leandro Bitetti (head of the Master in Business Administration with a Major in Innovation Management SUPSI), Nicoletta Casanova (co-founder, CEO and president of the Board of Directors of FEMTOprint SA), Paulo Gonçalves (academic director of the Executive Master in Business Administration USI), Augusto Mitidieri (CEO of Amis Consulting SA), and Jacqueline Ruedin Rüsch (founding partner of Privilège Ventures SA), reviewed the documentation produced and listened to the presentations (pitches) of the competing teams, relying on predetermined criteria to select the most promising projects.

The ten teams that passed the regional jury selection and enter the final stage of the program are (in alphabetical order):

  1. Deutelio AG
  2. FarmAid
  3. Fima Global Sagl
  4. GraphSight
  5. HISOLab
  6. In Virtuo Laboratories
  7. InfinityGen
  8. ReSportApp
  9. Snaption Sagl
  10. SynthEnergy

Finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects before a large audience at the Awards Ceremony on December 4. On that occasion, in addition to the prizes awarded by the National Jury, the startups will compete for the sixth prize, which will be awarded directly by the vote of the public attending the evening at the Palazzo dei Congressi, where 600 people are expected to attend.

To attend the event, an evening dedicated to innovation in Canton Ticino, registration is required at lu.ma/award-bb24 by November 28, 2024.
