Jaipur Robotics raises €4.3 million and accelerates international growth
SHARE
The startup based at Tecnopolo Ticino in Manno has closed a €4.3 million Seed funding round to support its international expansion, further technology development, and team growth.
Less than three years after taking part in the Boldbrain Startup Challenge, Jaipur Robotics is entering a new phase of its entrepreneurial journey.
Founded by Ermes Zamboni and Nikhil Prakash, the company develops artificial intelligence and computer vision solutions for the Waste-to-Energy sector, helping waste treatment plants monitor incoming materials, detect hazardous items, and optimise operations.
The technology is already being used in Switzerland and several European countries. Its installations include the cantonal waste-to-energy plant in Giubiasco, operated by ACR.
Jaipur Robotics’ journey in Ticino began in 2023 with Boldbrain and continued with its move to Tecnopolo Ticino, as well as coaching activities and meetings with investors promoted by Fondazione AGIRE.
Today, the company has 40 team members across Switzerland and Asia, six of whom are based in Ticino. The new funding will enable Jaipur Robotics to further strengthen its international presence while also creating new job opportunities in the region.
“Jaipur Robotics’ journey is a concrete example of what an innovation ecosystem should make possible: providing a company with targeted tools at every stage of its growth,” says Stefano Rizzi, Vice President of Fondazione AGIRE.
