Boldbrain2025: the 10 finalists have been selected

The eighth edition of the Boldbrain Startup Challenge, organized by the Agire Foundation in collaboration with the USI Startup Centre, is thus entering its final phase. The acceleration program, which began on August 28, offered the twenty selected teams the opportunity to develop their business ideas through six thematic workshops, personalized coaching sessions, and opportunities for exchange with experts and investors.
On Friday, November 21, at the West Campus of the Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, the Regional Jury met to evaluate the projects in the competition and identify the ten finalists who will compete for the prizes at stake during the final evening.
The jury, chaired by Luca Mascaro (founder and chairman of Sketchin) and composed of representatives from Ticino’s academic and business communities, reviewed the documentation submitted by the teams and attended their pitches, basing its assessment on criteria of innovation, market potential, sustainability, and entrepreneurial capacity.
The ten teams that have been selected to access the final phase of the program are (in alphabetical order):

These projects will take to the stage of the Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano during the Award Ceremony on 3 December 2025, in the presence of more than 700 people, including public authorities, entrepreneurs, investors and innovation enthusiasts. In addition to the five prizes awarded by a National Jury, the evening will also include the presentation of a public award, decided directly by the spectators in the room.
Attendance at the evening, which is entirely dedicated to innovation in Canton Ticino, is free of charge but subject to mandatory registration on the website www.boldbrain.ch by 26 November 2025.
