An invention that saves the heart

Helping those born without a fundamental part of the heart, offering a new perspective to patients who, thanks to modern surgery, now survive longer but face serious complications later in adult life.

This is the ambition of CC Cardio, the project conceived by Maria Alexandra Cetățoiu, bioengineer and co-founder of the startup that won Boldbrain 2025, the acceleration program for innovative startups in Ticino promoted by Fondazione Agire.
